Every library requires a foundation, and the Bibliotheca Alexandria Arcane Archive was no exception. What began as a blank slate of unallocated server space has evolved into a fully realised digital archive. This journey wasn’t just about installation—it was about reclaiming control over the infrastructure of knowledge.

The Architecture of Independence

  • The Command Center: I deployed the Hestia Control Panel, a lightweight but powerful engine that manages the server’s heartbeat.
  • The Secure Tunnel: Sitting safely behind a Cloudflare Tunnel, the archive is hardened against public port vulnerabilities.
  • The Encryption: Fully secured via SSL, ensuring every connection is private and authenticated.

Form Meeting Function

A library should be as beautiful as the volumes it contains. Using the Spectra framework, I’ve surgically refined the interface to strip away dated layouts. By injecting a signature Teal-to-Pink neon gradient, I’ve created a living exhibit. The result is a masonry grid that functions like a card floating in a vibrant digital ether.

Why It Matters

This move wasn’t just technical housekeeping; it was a commitment to stability, longevity, and independence. The new setup gives me full control over storage and organisation, ensuring the material remains available without quotas or takedowns.

The pipes are flowing, the gates are locked, and the archive is open.
